Send me a few photos and I’ll sculpt your dog in wool, by hand, from the tilt of their ears to the grey around their muzzle. Each one sits on its own wooden plinth, a lifelike keepsake to treasure for years.
Cats, rabbits and other much-loved pets are very welcome too.

What you’ll get
Every needle felted pet is made to order, start to finish, by one pair of hands.
Shaped by hand from soft wool, one jab of the felting needle at a time. No kits and no moulds, just patience.
The odd ear, the white sock, the patch over one eye. I study your photos so the details you love are all there.
Every felted friend sits on its own wooden plinth, ready for a shelf, a desk or the mantelpiece.
Collect from me in Wallasey or I’ll drop them off nearby. Further afield, I’ll arrange UK delivery, priced for where you are.

How it works
From the first photo to the day they arrive, every felted friend is made by me, Rachael, in Wallasey on the Wirral.
Step one
Send a few photos on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, with your pet’s name and a little about their personality.
Step two
We chat about their pose and any little details, and choose a date that works for you. {How you take payment, for example a deposit to book your spot.}
Step three
I sculpt your pet in wool, checking every detail against your photos, and keep you updated as they take shape.
Step four
Once you’re happy, collect them from me in Wallasey or I’ll drop them off nearby. Further afield, I’ll arrange UK delivery.
Photo tips
Phone photos are perfect. The more angles I can see, the more like them your felted friend will be.
If your pet is no longer with you, send whatever photos you have. I’ll work gently from them, and we can talk through anything I can’t quite see.
Start your commission
Message me on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, whichever suits you. Pop in a photo or two, your pet’s name and any date you have in mind, and I’ll let you know when they’ll be ready, plus delivery if you’re not local.

Around a week from when we agree the details, though it can take longer at busy times or if there’s lots of detail to capture. Ordering for Christmas or a birthday? Message me early, ideally by {DATE}, and I’ll do my best to have them ready in time.
Yes, and it’s one of the most special things I make. Send whatever photos you have, even if they’re not perfect, and we’ll go through them together. There’s more about memorial keepsakes here.

Not quite. Some people call them 3D pet portraits, but rather than a flat picture in a frame, your pet is sculpted in wool from every side and sits on its own wooden plinth, like a small teddy you can hold.
Most felted friends are collected from me or dropped off around Wallasey. If you’re further afield, I can arrange UK delivery, added on top of the £35 and priced for where you are.
Keep them out of strong sunlight and away from damp, and dust them now and then with a soft, dry brush. They’re made for display rather than play, so keep them out of reach of little hands and curious paws. The care instructions page has more.
