In loving memory

Pet Memorial Keepsakes, Felted With Love

When a much-loved pet is no longer by your side, a felted keepsake can bring a little of them home again. I sculpt each one by hand from your photos and memories, gently and with all the time it needs, so you can keep them close.

Whether they crossed the rainbow bridge last week or many years ago, I’d be honoured to help you remember them.

No rush, ever

Take All the Time You Need

Losing a pet is losing a member of the family. There’s no deadline here, and no question is too small.

Whenever You’re Ready

Message me when it feels right, whether that’s this week or next year. We’ll go at your pace, one step at a time.

Any Photos Will Do

Old prints, blurry phone snaps, the picture on the fridge. I’ll work gently from whatever you have, and ask about anything I can’t quite see.

Tell Me About Them

Their name, their funny habits, the way they tilted their head. Every little detail helps me felt them as you remember them.

How it works

How a Memorial Piece Comes Together

Every memorial keepsake is made to order by me, Rachael, in Wallasey on the Wirral. Each one is £35, the same as my other commissions.

Step one

Say Hello When You’re Ready

Message me on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram. Tell me a little about them, and send any photos you’d like to share.

Step two

We Talk It Through

We go through your photos together and agree the pose, along with any little details that matter to you.

Step three

Felted Gently, by Hand

I sculpt them in wool, checking every detail against your photos, and keep you updated as they take shape.

Step four

Brought Home to You

Collect them from me in Wallasey, or I’ll bring them to you if you’re nearby. Further afield, I’ll arrange careful UK delivery.

A thoughtful gift

A Gift for Someone Who’s Lost a Pet

If a friend or family member has lost their companion, a felted keepsake is a gentle way to show you care. It’s a pet loss gift they can hold, and treasure for years.

I can work from photos you’ve gathered quietly, so it stays a surprise, and I’m happy to help you choose the right ones.

Questions

Questions You Might Have

If there’s anything else on your mind, send me a message. There’s no such thing as a silly question.

Yes. I work from your photos and the memories you share, and take great care to capture them just as you remember them. It can be a real comfort to have them home again, sitting on their own wooden plinth.

That’s absolutely fine. Send whatever you have, even if they’re old, blurry or a little faded. If there’s a detail I can’t see, such as the colour of their back or the shape of their tail, I’ll simply ask you.

Sometimes, so please ask me first. Send me a message and I’ll let you know whether I can blend a little of their fur into the wool, so a part of them is always there.

Around a week from when we agree the details, though it can take longer at busy times or if there’s lots of detail to capture. If you’d like it for a special date, such as a birthday or an anniversary, just let me know and I’ll do my best.

Memorial keepsakes are £35, the same as my other commissions, and around 10cm tall on a wooden plinth. If you’re not local, UK delivery is added on top, priced for where you are.

Yes. Most are collected from me or dropped off around Wallasey, so I can hand them over in person. If you’re further afield, I can arrange careful UK delivery, added on top of the £35 and priced for where you are.

Yes, and it can be a lovely way to show you care. I can work from photos you’ve gathered, and help you choose the right ones if you’re unsure.

Yes. Dogs are what I make most, but cats, rabbits and other much-loved companions are very welcome. Send me a photo and we can talk it through.

Keep it out of strong sunlight and away from damp, and dust it now and then with a soft, dry brush. It’s made for display rather than play, so keep it out of reach of little hands and curious paws. The care instructions page has more.

Keep Them Close

A little of them, home again, to treasure for years to come.
